Pssst: By now you’ve probably seen the buzz surrounding this season’s ultimate bundle. It’s back for spring 2014, and I’m here to tell you all about why you want to click that buy button while you still can! The sale started yesterday, but I am a little late on posting this because of a family crisis that came up on the weekend. While my whole week has been a bit derailed, I definitely don’t want you to miss out on your chance to grab this awesome resource.

A few months ago, I became a part-time work-at-home mom when we chose to try to build this site into a business to help support our family. Since then, I’ve been pondering something – how exactly do you define a homemaker? I used to think that it was equated with being a stay-at-home mom.

I don’t anymore.

Now I firmly believe that every adult in charge of a household should proudly bear the title of “homemaker”.

If you spend the majority of your waking hours at home, you are a homemaker.
If you spend the majority of your waking hours at work, you are still a homemaker.
If you are a weird sort of hybrid version who doesn’t know exactly how to define themselves (like me), you are most certainly still a homemaker.
A homemaker is someone who contributes to the building of a home. Not the physical part of it, but the heart and soul of it.

Yes, the definition of a homemaker has certainly been expanded in my mind. Home is wherever I am with the people that I love, where together we feel safe and loved and known. Making a house into a home is a valiant task – one not to be taken lightly.

When I think about the myriad of ways in which we make our homes, I think of the practical and the mundane… and I think of the sacred and the spiritual. I think about relationships, about good food, about quirky house rules and family dynamics. I am blown away when I think about all of the many ways in which we are privileged to partake in this venture of homemaking.

humble

One of the reasons I love the internet is the wealth of knowledge and information that is available to us, especially as those who are busy with the effort of making houses into homes. We are often relegated to be within the walls of our homes because of small children, tasked with housekeeping minutia, and we can be easily overwhelmed with the enormity and gravity of the task.

I write here in this space for a lot of reasons, but one of them is to create a little community of (mostly) women who desire the support of eras past that is no longer easily available. That’s why I am honoured to share this resource with you. I believe that it may be an invaluable tool to you in your homemaking journey, no matter where you are in it.

Please know this, dear reader: what follows here may be a sales pitch, but make no mistake: I would simply not be promoting anything that I did not believe in. I truly and honestly think that this is a great deal, and I would be telling you all about it even if I weren’t an affiliate. Not every single book in the bundle is right up my alley, but the overwhelming number of treasures that piqued my interest as well as the UH-MAZING bonuses make it a total no-brainer.

With all of that being said… here’s the low-down:
